Berisha: Today we are opening the door to the uninterrupted season of opposition

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared today that this Monday marks the opening of the curtain on the uninterrupted season of opposition protests.

In a conference with journalists from the DP headquarters, Berisha said that the protests are being called in the conditions when the government turned the May 11 elections into a farce.

Berisha added that Albanians have all the evidence for this process, which was not free and fair.

"The opposition people inaugurate today the beginning of the parliamentary-citizen rostrum, in front of the Prime Minister's premises. With a request for the resignation of Edi Rama, as a first step towards a technical government and free and fair early elections. This protest is called in the conditions when the opposition did everything for a free and fair electoral process, but also to turn the elections into a farce. Thus proving to the Albanians and the world that there is no hope of power through free votes, as long as Edi Rama is prime minister. The opening of the curtain of the uninterrupted season of protests, but made it a complex of circumstances. Today every Albanian who has the ideal of free votes and loves free votes has international documents in his hands, which prove that Rama is conducting a farce and not elections", - said Berisha. /CNA
