"The situation is dynamic due to fronts"/ Balluku meeting on

Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, in a statement to the media, spoke about the situation from the front lines in the country. Balluku stated that at this moment, the interaction of all structures, starting from the Ministry of Agriculture or Civil Emergencies, is very important.

Further, Balluku announced that all critical infrastructure companies have been notified.

The Deputy Prime Minister said that providing real-time information on weather conditions is very important.

Balluku announced that there will be ongoing meetings in the coming days with the responsible institutions.

" Of course, at this moment the coordination of all structures, both Civil Emergencies and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, is very important. On the other hand, as for all critical infrastructure enterprises, they are notified, starting as we said from the Albanian Electric Power Corporation, then to OSHEE, the Albanian Road Authority and all other enterprises, which perform services that serve at these moments to control the situation.

It is important to have an exchange of information also regarding the dynamics of the atmospheric conditions, as we have seen that we have had two pieces of information that have changed in the meantime from last night to dinner, where we started receiving the first information from satellites, this morning there are some changes, so the situation is dynamic due to the moving fronts of the wind corridors at altitude.

For this reason, there must be coordination between the data coming from Civil Aviation, as well as the data coming from the satellites that KESH uses to control the cascade, of course with all the information coming from IGJEUM, or even from the National Civil Protection Agency itself.

It is very important to emphasize that we will have continuous meetings over the next two days, but we must appeal time and time again, also through the mayors, to all citizens who live in areas traditionally affected by floods, as was mentioned in the case of Shkodra Plain or Lezha, or even areas that are close to the Vjosa, such as the case of Fier or Vlora, that regardless of whether the rainfall there is not expected to have high intensity in both of these areas, on the other hand the flows of the Vjosa may increase the level and may create such problems , "said Balluku.
