Democratic Party MP, Luçiano Boçi, stated today that the electoral law in Albania is constantly violated. According to him, this is demonstrated at every moment by the government. Commenting on the elections for the Municipality of Tirana, the democratic MP said in a television appearance that there is a great alarm in the SP due to the profile of the independent candidate and supported by the DP, Florjan Binaj. 

"Electoral campaigns start without the legal gong ringing and meetings are allowed to begin. But the electoral law in our country is violated at every moment, it is not respected. And this is demonstrated by the government with its arrogance. The arrogance of the government is now accepted as the norm. Violating the Electoral Code is the last thing on the citizen's mind. Because at every moment where it is violated, they feel the violation of the law and the disrespect for the Constitution. The important thing is that the opposition is in the campaign and there should be no peace. But here propaganda wins, not values ??and virtue. If there is a big alarm in the SP, it is the profile of candidate Binaj, his non-political profile ," said Boçi. 

Continuing his speech about the support that Binaj received from the opposition, Boçi stated that he is the candidate that citizens see as closest to them and most trustworthy. 

"Binaj was not a random appointment. He had certain targets, he has civil society activities, he has successes, he has public engagement and not only media engagement, he has knowledge in a field related to city management because he has another degree. There are many dimensions, Binaj as a candidate was appointed because of that. There is a conflict between citizens and politics, and today citizens are determined by a candidate closer to themselves. Binaj does not have the political costume and makes himself more credible. Today the most serious people in a society, I'm not saying in Albania, are the people who make humor. Humor is a dimension of intelligence" , said Boçi./ CNA
