The independent candidate for the municipality of Tirana who is supported by the opposition, Florjan Binaj, spoke this evening about his plans for the transformation of the capital.

In a television appearance, Binaj said that in two years he cannot demolish everything that has been built so far, as according to him this would cost the Tirana municipality bankruptcy. He said that the improvement of the city will start by conducting studies and also by asking people what the city needs.  

"In two years with the best experts, we cannot do miracles. We cannot demolish everything that has been done because they were built legally. We cannot go backwards because it would cost the municipality, it would bring bankruptcy. We will conduct a study where people will be asked. A study will be conducted to see what this city needs. I will return the small community referendums.  Tirana has a shameful artistic impasse. We only have two suitable theater halls and one semi-suitable one," said Binaj./CNA
