Attacks on prosecutors and judges/ Tomorri: Sultans do not accept independent
Journalist Klodian Tomorri

Journalist Klodian Tomorri has commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's attacks on judges.

In a television appearance on Syri TV, Tomorri said that any prosecutor or judge who makes decisions that do not go according to the interests of the prime minister, the latter attacks them by naming and shaming them, unleashing mobs.

"The Prime Minister then has a problematic relationship with everything that does not suit his interests. He is used to having absolute power and if a prosecutor appears in a corner of Albania, or makes a decision that stops a madness, or makes a decision that the Prime Minister does not like, he puts it on his Facebook page. He has put the prosecutor out by name, surname and face, unleashing the crowds," Tomorri said.

According to Tomorri, Sokol Sadushi's statement today on the security of justice was delayed.

"What Sokol Sadushi is doing today is very late because judges, prosecutors, and all employees of the justice system should have reacted long ago to all those attacks or taunts from the prime minister," Tomorri declared.

The journalist further emphasized that the sultans cannot accept independent people who defend the law by going against their decisions or interests.

"We have reached this point where we have a prime minister who feels like he has this power and when someone confronts him, it feels like someone is taking revenge on him. Sultans and despots cannot accept independent people who defend the law by going against his decisions or interests," he said./ CNA
