There will be no elections in Tirana on November 9, this is what the opposition

The Constitutional Court has 'de facto' postponed the elections for Mayor of Tirana.

The date set by the Constitutional Court for the review of Veliaj's appeal makes it impossible to organize early elections for Veliaj's replacement.

So is Berisha and his people celebrating?

Veliaj does not seem happy. His lawyers are not celebrating. Everyone knows that Veliaj is simply trying to buy time. His end is predetermined and his defeat is what is announced in the Special Court and not in the Constitutional Court.

Meanwhile, Berisha's opposition is benefiting from the purchase made by Veliaj. Since the loss of Tirana was certain, they too thought it would be a good idea to drag out and postpone the loss for some time until the conditions are ripe for elections in Tirana.

The opposition simply will not lose Tirana on November 9. This loss has been postponed a bit!

It will happen alone from the other 5 losses in Berat, Vlora, Tepelena, Mat and Cerrik.
