"The Prime Minister's Office and Parliament should be on fire"/

Analyst Andi Bushati has made strong statements regarding the opposition protests and their effectiveness against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Invited to the show Të Paekspozuarit with Ylli Rakipi, Bushati stated that the protest is within the Democratic Party's right to organize, but according to him, it does not have the power to overthrow or even create "Rama's regime."

He also commented on the debate over the use of fireworks and Molotov cocktails during protests, stating that the problem, according to him, does not lie in the act itself, but in the lack of effectiveness.

Bushati also raised the question of whether institutions, which he believes have been usurped, should be forcibly removed, describing this as the fundamental political debate.

"The DP has the right to protest, but with protests, not only does Rama's regime not collapse, but it also does not collapse. We must be responsible, so that this kind of government, such protests do not cause any great harm."

Second, there was a debate, fireworks, Molotov cocktails, my problem is not that the opposition threw Molotov cocktails, but that it cannot burn down the Prime Minister's Office of millions of Balluk or the Parliament of kidnappings of Ergys Agas. At the point we are, it would be legitimate for the Parliament and the Prime Minister's Office, but also Tirana to be in flames. The opposition cannot play this role, it does not have the millions, the gangs and the power to organize this. In this sense, the debate becomes ridiculous, criticizing the opposition for slightly polluting the walls of the Prime Minister's Office. With these kidnappers, chronic thieves, any action of citizens would be justified. The opposition is not at this level.

Children is the second question? The fundamental question is, after we have seen what Balluku has done and Rama does not hand him over, after we have seen how Agasi kidnaps people and no one cares, the usurpers of these institutions, should they be forcibly removed from there? This is the first question. Then is it done with children or with men? With people who really do it or pretend? But the fundamental question is, should these thieves who rob every day be dragged by the throat with a rope?

"Then how, that's a secondary debate," Bushati said, among other things./ CNA
