On Monday, August 7, the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, went to Vlora and criticized the Director of the Border, Eduard Sulejmani, after the denunciations made by CNA that the police officer attacks businesses and people equipped with documents to collect the tribute.

Balla "pulled the ear" of Sulejman, as he said that there is a leak of information and the actions of the State Police are being debunked.

When only 3 days have passed since this event, the Minister of the Interior "landed" again in Vlora.

But this time, Balla held a meeting with leaders and operational forces of the Vlora Police, directly involved in the last two operations in this city, for the attack on a case of illegal possession of weapons and remote-controlled mines.

"Many thanks for the operation carried out very successfully and the prevention of serious criminal events, at this peak of the tourist season, where the primary duty of the Police is to guarantee public order and safety. These criminal groups that have been damaging the public order in Vlora for years, creating criminal events, are receiving blows day by day. Even the 2 strikes of the last 72 hours were prevention by the Police for some criminal events.

I think that walking in this direction in DVP Vlorë deserves to be highly appreciated from my side as Minister, from the General Director of Police, Mr. Rrumbullaku, who sends you his gratitude and thanks. Naturally, as we have made it standard in the evaluation of the work, I believe that the director has informed you that for all the effectives involved in successful actions and operations of this level, there will be a financial reward for each of you", said the minister.

He demanded high commitment and integrity in the work of Police officers, in the daily battle with illegality and organized crime in particular.
