Zhupa: The government is trying to hide communications with UNESCO

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Ina Zhupa, stated that the Council of Ministers, to her request that the Albanian government show official communications with UNESCO, responded with a handwritten piece of paper, without a signature, without a stamp, without a protocol, without date, thus showing a lack of seriousness.

During a statement to the media, Zhupa stated that this letter was sent to the Constitutional Court, where it is stated that "The request for comments on the draft law was made by email. This email is not found due to the closure of employee accounts after dismissals".

The deputy says that this is an attempt to hide information, since even if there are public officials who have left, whose emails have been closed, their content can still be generated by the gov.al system that is administered and stored by ANA.

"As you know, during the constitutional trial, as a deputy of the Democratic Party, I asked to receive all communications with UNESCO from the Albanian government. Butrint is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and their notification and recommendations are a state duty.

To show the lack of seriousness of the Council of Ministers, and the catastrophic situation in which they work today, I will ask the public's attention for one of the "documents" brought by the Council of Ministers.

It is just that, a piece of handwritten paper, unsigned, unstamped, unrecorded, undated, as you can see. This piece of paper is brought to the Constitutional Court, the highest judicial level in the Republic of Albania, and reads:

"The request for comments on the draft law was made by email. This email is not found due to the closure of employee accounts after dismissals".

This piece of paper, which seems to have been brought by the carelessness of the Council of Ministers or by the madness of an administration that does not understand the importance of the constitutional process, does not understand the importance of Unesco, the importance of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, and the importance of the parties as the President, Deputies, KLSH, Ombudsman.

This piece of "official" paper shows the lack of seriousness of the state's governing system, the unprofessional handling of official state communications with international organizations, but also the loss of official documents, the lack of accurate information from UNESCO.

On the other hand, one more attempt to hide information. This is because even if the email accounts of persons, former public officials who have left, have been closed, their content can still be generated by the gov.al system, which is administered and stored by ANA. Millions of euros were given for governance and electronic systems, so that in the end we lost official communications with UNESCO?!

A ready-made meme of the way the Albanian government works, and an absolutely pleasant circumstance, highlights before the Constitutional Court and the public opinion the shortcomings we have from the information presented by the government regarding the entire practice followed to grant concession to Butrint for 10 years.

For Butrint, the truth is being hidden because everything is against those who gave it and those who took it. As an accomplice in crime, the government does not bring official documents, while the AADF does not appear as a party in the judicial process.
