Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has made strong accusations against the High Inspector of Justice, Artur Metani.

In a press release, Berisha said that Metani is involved in the incinerator affair.

According to him, the current head of the ILD, while he was the head of the legal department of the Council of Ministers, participated in all the legal arguments for the concession procedure.

He claims that Metani did this together with the General Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Engjëll Agaçin.

For this reason, Berisha requested the resignation of the High Inspector of Justice.

" According to the original sources, a lot of pressure is being applied to the investigation team of the theft of the century. In this context, I request that any contact of any employee with the investigation team of the theft of the century be investigated.

In this context, I request the immediate resignation of the senior inspector of justice, Artur Metani, who is legally and criminally one of the most responsible for the chili affair in Albania.

Artur Metani, I inform the Albanians, that he is together with Engjëll Agaçi, the man who argued, who participated in all the legal arguments of the Council of Ministers.

Artur Metani, former head of the legal department of the Council of Ministers, who is the main guardian of the decisions of the Council of Ministers, along with Agac have legitimized a crime procedure.

Artur Metani is immersed in the theft of the century. He, without anyone else, chaired the meeting with 5 deputy ministers in the Ministry of Environment, purposely made by Edi Rama and Engjëll Agaçi to launch the strategy drawn up with 4 million euros of EU investments for the treatment of waste in Albania by depositing, sorting , recycling.

This gentleman has chaired the meeting without any objection, simply for the interests of the garbage mafia dome.
