Since August 1, the service for identity cards or biometric passports is offered by the state company "IdentiTek".

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, received this service this Thursday morning.

Through a status on social networks, he shows the procedures he has followed and that every citizen can follow for biometric documents.

Also, the minister declares that the old coupons bought at "Aleat", which have not been used, can be exchanged at the offices of the Albanian Post for the new coupons of the state company "IdentiTek".

The services for the equipment and renewal of identification documents are carried out from August 1 by the state company "IdentiTek". In order to be equipped with ID cards and passports, citizens must buy the relevant coupon at the offices of the Albanian Post and then present themselves at the same application offices as before, now the "IdentiTek" offices.

Citizens who have bought the old coupons of the former concessionaire, and who have not used them, should not worry. Just go to the offices of the Albanian Post and exchange them with the new coupons of the state company "IdentiTek". From today, citizens will also find coupons for the service with an accelerated procedure (Fast Track) at the counters of the Albanian Post. ", writes Balla./ CNA.al
