The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has held a meeting with the Structures of the Local Police Directorate in Dibër.

Balla published photos from the meeting, where the director general of the State Police, Muhamet Rrumbulaku, was also present and gave a message about domestic violence.

He has declared that he will do his best for the police and other law-enforcement agencies to rise to the level of a European country, for the attack until the eradication of domestic violence.

"Every day in this position, I will do my best for the State Police, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, to rise to the level of social expectations of a European country, for the surgical strike to the eradication of domestic violence, where women fall victim of the barbarity of men. Every woman, every girl must gain the absolute confidence that calling or reporting her for help to the State Police is the right vital step, for freedom from the nightmare before it is too late and for victory over the extreme injustice of violence. A new pro-active approach in the fight against this foreign phenomenon for the time, place and Europe where we live will be an absolute priority in our daily work for citizens and with citizens", wrote the minister./ CNA.al
