The incinerator of Tirana/Veliaj is putting pressure on justice to be declared

While other facts are coming to light day by day regarding the Tirana incinerator affair, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has accused Mayor Erion Veliaj.

According to Berisha, Veliaj is the author and architect of Tirana's incinerator. Among other things, it is stated that the mayor is putting a lot of pressure on justice to be declared the victim of Mirel Mërtir and Klodian Zoto.

" Erion Veliaj has mobilized these times all his mafia and other potentials and wants at all costs to appear either as a victim, or at least as the mystery of Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtir. In this context, various sources reveal that he is also putting great pressure on the justice system.

I want to emphasize from the beginning that these attitudes constitute a new, special criminal offense, for which he will be held responsible, in addition to the heavy legal and criminal responsibilities he bears as the main man of the Tirana fire brigade.

Pretending that you are a victim, or at least the mystery of usstallars Zoto and Mërtiri, means making fun, not only of yourself, but of justice and the entire Albanian public. It is Erion Veliaj, the master of the incinerator of Tirana, who, in order to open the doors to the theft affair of the century, changed the waste treatment strategy from a strategy of depositing-selection-recycling and expansion of the landfill, to incineration with a concession with the incinerator of Tirana.

No one, neither Klodian Zoto, nor Mirel Rama, that is, Edi Rama, could decide and dictate such a decision to the Mayor of Tirana, without a serious violation of the constitution and laws of the country", said Berisha. / CNA
