In order to increase security and prevent events with consequences on national road axes, the Technical Intervention Team (TNT), consisting of the State Police, National Emergency and Fire Service, was created and started functioning.

TNT will be mobile and will monitor axes with increased risk. The new unit was presented in Llogara, during a meeting that the Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla held with leaders of the relevant structures and the presence of the District Prefect, the Mayor, etc.

"The package of measures for a safe tourist season was made possible in record time, including TNT, the Technical Intervention Team (Police, Emergency, Ministry of Health). This is a solution provided by the partners, to guarantee timely intervention, emergencies in cases incidents, accompanied by the Fire Service and the State Police", said Balla.

In response to the request of the Director of National Emergency, for the need for training of this force, and not only, Balla said that TNT, starting next week, will undergo training programs at the Security Academy.

In addition to increasing the commitment of structures to increase public confidence, Balla stated that efforts are being made to improve financial treatment, apart from security structures and other public entities, also for local government employees.
