The Advisor for Economic Affairs in DP and at the same time the vice president of the Municipal Council of Tirana, Dorian Teliti, in a statement from the DP headquarters, called on every Albanian to participate in the July 11 protest that will take place in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

As he accused the Rama government of child malnutrition, inequality, rising prices and high taxes, he underlined that we must seek a technical government, and through it, free and fair elections.

Full statement:

The opposition has called a protest on July 11, for the injustices that are being done to you, us, our families and the future of the country.

The family economy, your economy and the economy of the country in these 11 years, of Edi Rama and his bad governance, has languished. 1/3 of the population left the country, separating families forever.

According to UNICEF statistics, in every 100 Albanian children, 47 are malnourished. Prices have multiplied, while both salaries and pensions have not increased even with inflation indexation rates over the years. For 13 months, Edi Rama refuses to approve the vital minimum, a proposal of the opposition that sleeps in the drawers of the Parliament.

Albanians have been paying the increased price of energy and water for years. For years we have been paying the "Rama tax" on fuel, which costs us 240 old lek for every liter we consume.

Edi Rama and his government betrayed the youth and the young couples, who today have almost no opportunity to buy an apartment for housing, since the prices of the apartments increased several times, as a result of the money of crime, drugs and corruption, and have taken this sector out of the normal development tracks.

Edi Rama and his government killed free and fair competition, driving away foreign investors. Edi Rama and his government not only betrayed the enterprise, but declared open war. With the increase in taxes, Albania has been the country with the highest fiscal burden in the region for 11 years, making business development impossible, often leading to bankruptcy.

Poverty and injustice are sitting cross-legged in the families of honest Albanians, while the government lives in another world. The misuse of public funds for luxuries, luxury trips with private charters, multi-million tenders without competition and ordered, PPP concession contracts abuses and corruption, have been and are the only ones that receive the full attention of the government.

Dear citizens, we must say STOP!

Stop abuse, stop clientelism, stop corruption, stop suffocating taxation, stop abandoning people in need, stop any practice that worsens the life of every Albanian.

I call on every Albanian who has suffered from misbehavior, who has been abandoned, who pays a lot of taxes and receives few services, to come together on July 11 at 20.00 before KM.

United in the battle for today and the future, let's protest the greed and stupidity of Edi Rama. To demand a technical government, and through it free and fair elections. TODAY OR EVER! Thank you!/ CNA
