The chairman of the DP, Sali Berisha, has reacted regarding the opening of the Llogara tunnel.

He described it as the second biggest corruption offense after the burnings.

According to Berisha, this work has cost every tourist or resident of the area about 12 thousand euros.

STATEMENT OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE DP, SALI BERISHA:

Dear citizens, ladies and gentlemen.

I am here today to denounce the Llogara tunnel as the most corrupt public work after the burnings, in the last 32 years in Albania.

The Llogara tunnel has cost the Albanian taxpayers, two monthly salaries of every Albanian, 180 million euros, but calculated for residents and tourist beds, this is the most worthless, most expensive tunnel on the planet.

If we calculate this amount for a maximum of 8,000 tourist beds in the area from Palasa to Qeparo, at a time when there are a total of 109,000 beds in all of Albania, 22,500 euros have been invested for one tourist bed. .

But if we calculate it for residents, that is, we add to these beds the number of residents who live all year in this area, which never reaches 4,000, then it is up to 12,000 for every person invested in this tunnel euros.

I recall here that years, 4.4 million travelers passed in the Kalimashi tunnel.

But I will make the comparison today with the Krraba tunnel. This tunnel, which cost a total of 14 million euros per kilometer, has on its other side, the area of ??central Albania and south-eastern Albania, North Macedonia, a large part of it, that is, about 2 million inhabitants.

In this context, it turns out that the investment in the Krraba tunnel is a total of 32 euros per inhabitant, compared to 12,000 euros per inhabitant in the Llogara tunnel.

Consequently, the investment per inhabitant for the Krraba tunnel is 375 times smaller than for the Llogara tunnel, which exceeds any kind of acceptable standard in the economic plane and makes it a Rama-Balluku corruption mega-affair, the size of a mountain.

Today, of course, this second biggest mega-affair, without the chilli affair, is closed, amnestied by Zamani and Skapi of the party.

I guarantee Albanians that justice delays and never forgets, and that this act will be punished with the full force of the law.
