Rama: We have requested Italy's assistance for the text of the Criminal

Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that he has requested increased assistance from Italy for the texts of Albania's Penal Codes and criminal procedure. Rama said that this will be done with the involvement of Italian law faculties and experts from the Italian Ministry of Justice.

The head of government further stated that if Italy had not provided its assistance in the last 35 years, Albania would not be the country it is today and would be in more complicated conditions.

"We are talking about the assistance that Italy has been providing to Albania for years, or more precisely, the transfer of knowledge. Today we talked about increasing the volume of assistance from Italy for the texts of our Criminal Codes and criminal procedure, but also for the texts of European Law. With the involvement of Italian law faculties, experts from the Ministry of Justice and so on. The time when Giorgia will be at the head of the European Council and I can't wait to see such a day.
