The EU Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato, was present at the CoE activity “Support to the Electoral Process Cycle in Albania - Council of Europe Office in Tirana (SECA)”.
In his speech, Gonzato said that electoral reform is a good step towards electoral integrity.
Further, the ambassador said that the CEC has taken important steps in the post-election analysis.
Gonzato stated that depoliticization is essential and electoral reform is a key part of EU integration.
" Electoral Reform represents a good step towards electoral integrity. We urge the parties for comprehensive reform, a good product is needed. The CEC has taken important steps in the post-election analysis and has presented several proposals. Depoliticization is essential.
