DCM/ Government approves the method and procedure of reporting to licensing and

The Council of Ministers approved the decision on the form, manner and procedure for reporting data by Licensing and Supervisory Authorities.

According to this decision, licensing and supervisory authorities report to the responsible authority, the Financial Intelligence Agency, immediately and no later than 72 hours from the moment of ascertaining any suspicion, information or data related to money laundering, terrorist financing or the financing of weapons of mass destruction for activities under their jurisdiction.

The supervisory authorities for subjects of law in the field of prevention of money laundering, financing of terrorism and financing of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction are:

1. Bank of Albania

2. Financial Supervisory Authority

3. Central government bodies

4. The Gambling Supervisory Agency or any other authority charged by law with gambling, casinos and racetracks, of any form.

5. Ministry of Justice

6. National Bar Association for lawyers

7. The Ministry responsible for infrastructure for any person, natural or legal, whose object of activity is: trading in land, water or air motor vehicles; forwarding and/or transport activities.

8. Financial Intelligence Agency for:

a) travel agencies;

b) construction companies;

c) businesses of metals and precious stones;

ç) any natural or legal person who provides the following services to a client:

9. Public Oversight Board for:

a) statutory auditors;

b) approved accountants./ CNA
