41.7 billion lek for the Ministry of Economy/ Ibrahimaj: Here's how the funds from the 2026 budget will be allocated

The Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, is presenting the draft budget for 2026 to the Economy Committee.

The Minister said that 41.7 billion lek have been allocated from the budget for the Ministry of Economy, while also indicating how these state funds will be allocated.

"Today we will present to you the draft budget for the Ministry of Economy and Innovation for 2026. Economic growth in 2025 is projected to be 3.9%, while employment has increased to 68.5%, unemployment has decreased to the lowest historical level, to 8.5%, while inflation has stabilized at 2.25. The average salary has become 850 euros and the minimum has doubled. The total funds planned for the Ministry of Economy in 2026 are 41.7 billion lek.

"They are divided into: 5.1 billion lek for salaries and social security; 34.2 billion lek for coherent and supporting programs and 2.4 billion for domestic and foreign capital investments," Ibrahimaj said. /CNA
