The member of the Presidency of the DP, Aldo Bumçi, said that in the last 10 years, Albania has taken steps backwards and that no other country has been as late as us.

Invited to a TV show, Bumçi emphasized that Albania today is worse than what it was 20 years ago, since you have the leader of the opposition under arrest and the vice president of the PD parliamentary group in prison.

"European integration is for Albania to become like Europe. There is no good news for Albania to have democracy here. In the last 10 years, 2014-2024, we have taken steps backwards. In these 10 years, this is the longest period since candidate country, no other country is as late as us. Today you have the leader of the opposition in prison.
