After the rejection of Salianj's request by GJKKO for the removal of the "Arrest in prison" measure, the deputy of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, reacted.

During his post on "Facebook", Gjekmarkaj stated that decency in Albania is dead and politics has sprouted on this corpse like a poisonous mushroom.

"If someone has not learned from the unprecedented precedent of the trial, of Salianj's kidnapping from political life, it means that he will not know how to protect himself from robbery, from the blow that can fall like lightning on a sunny day in his own home , in his own family, at the threshold that is knocking on him. Dear friends, dear Albanians, our elders used to mock themselves and say "the greatest miracle lasts three days".

I am not surprised by Salianj's three weeks or three months in prison, I am surprised that the hatred and fear of power is insatiable. Our courts would do well to come and present their candidacies and let the people vote that justice is dead, politics has sprouted on this corpse like a poisonous mushroom. 

It would be less hypocritical if they got some votes at least. In no case in these 34 years of transition has there been any court decision that sentenced to prison even when the allegations were false. A deputy is convicted for taking a trafficker to prison. The trafficker is sipping his coffee, maybe somewhere in his restaurant, he sees his brother, the former minister, showing him the right path to justice, who is standing right next to him. And you, and you, you know the whole truth!"
