Media incident/ Paloka reacts: Unethically, he put the microphone in front of my

The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Edi Paloka, has reacted on social media after the incident that occurred between the Democrats and the media at today's protest.

Paloka writes that the Democrats were provoked by the journalist and that the question directed at him personally showed a lack of ethics.

Edi Paloka's status

That most of the media in Albania are servants of the regime, this is now known not only by Albanians, but has also been evidenced in international reports, such as the latest OSCE-ODIHR report!

Today during the citizen protest against vote theft and manipulation, a Euronews journalist approached me and, seeing the minimal ethics, put the microphone in front of my face. I told her that I have no statement or declaration for that television. But the journalist, regardless of what I told her, continued with the messages she had received. I repeated that I have nothing to say to that television. At that moment, in front of my face, this journalist said: “They have it because they lost.”

Then I told him to leave and go to Rama because he pays you!

This journalist, instigated by the studio or who knows who, comes and puts the microphone in front of my face again while I was discussing with other people. I told her again that I have no opinion on her. Get away from me!

Meanwhile (as the citizens later told me) this same journalist, even though the citizens were tense, went and with a microphone in her hand addressed them: "You don't have proof and facts, or do you?" I don't know if it was incompetence or intentional, but it is certainly provocative in such a situation. And even more so when it comes from the media that has always openly sided with the government.

That was all that happened!

I have worked with many journalists for a few years and when I was a journalist, I didn't know that refusing to speak out to a television station was an insult, even an attack on the media. Those who get angry when Rama openly insults and attacks their journalist colleagues, today they are "offended" by me and Aldo Bumci because we refused to speak out for them!!!

Unfortunately, this country has ended up at this point where many of the media and journalists who by definition should be the opposition to the government are simply servants paid with the money that this regime steals from Albanians!/ CNA
