Rama's message to the EU: It's time to reinvent itself

Prime Minister Edi Rama delivered his speech at the summit of the European Political Community, where he emphasized that Europe now has the opportunity to reinvent itself.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Europe should be a home that does not resemble weapons but rather children's imaginations about Europe.

"The dream of permanent peace has been replaced by the nightmare of permanent wars."

We must not forget the Europe of human reason.

This Europe that at a certain moment gave birth to the most unlikeable project in history, the EU, taught us that former enemies could come together.

It was that Europe that taught us that in the midst of terrible conflicts we must have faith.

In the Balkans, we have survived wars, bombs, destruction. We have learned that peace has no competitors. Hope in the other Europe is greater here.

We have survived the economic collapse, fake news.

Europe remains the most fertile ground for transforming networks into bright, successful paths.

Let's give Europe's young people a better reason to stay than talking about weapons and armaments. Let's teach them to look beyond their future.
