Rama welcomes European leaders for the Political Community Summit/ Kaja

Prime Minister Edi Rama is hosting European leaders for the Political Community summit.

So far, the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas, the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu, and the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, have arrived.

In a statement to the media, Kallas spoke about relations between Kosovo and Serbia, stating that they had recently appointed a new representative for the dialogue and that normalization of relations was expected.

"We have just appointed a new representative for the dialogue, we expect the normalization of relations," said Kallas.

Asked if Albania will become part of the EU, Kallas said: "Yes, I think Albania is doing an excellent job with reforms and the right steps need to be taken by Europe."/ CNA
