The sixth summit of the European Political Community begins its work today in Tirana under the logo "New Europe in a new world", marking its first meeting in the Western Balkans with the participation of leaders, heads of state and government from 47 European countries, along with the heads of the main European and international institutions.
The host of the Summit, Prime Minister Edi Rama, will hold bilateral meetings with the participating personalities during the day, in dedicated facilities, starting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and then with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez; European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen; Sovereign Prince of Monaco Albert II; Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker; Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an; Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni; Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides; Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof; Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever, and will welcome all the leaders invited to the Summit with handshakes and a family photo.
Part of the day's events will also include a welcoming ceremony at the Summit, as well as various artistic performances promoting Albanian national tradition and culture.
