Democratic MP Luan Baçi commented today regarding the protests so far held by the opposition as part of the initiative called "Foltorja 2" in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

Invited to A2 CNN, Baçi stated that the platform will continue, designed to make public the concerns of citizens, while adding that the DP will not repeat the protests of January 21.

"We did not say that the rostrum at 6:00 PM every Monday will be put there and that day Rama will be overthrown. It was created as a result of a real blockade in Parliament, of interruptions of parliamentary sessions for very important laws without any cause and reason, passing them to a direct vote and without discussion.

It was considered reasonable that such a platform should be present not only for the deputies, but also for the citizens to denounce all the problems and make their concerns public. For me, the number complex does not exist. In my opinion, the mass is abundant. Regardless of whether there are 200, 500, 1000 or 5000, the same result will be achieved and the same work will be done.

The Democratic Party has shown that when it will show the strength of numbers, it has shown it and you can be sure that the day will come when we will show the strength of numbers, but we know very well that analysts will gather again in the media and say that 50 thousand people gathered there, but what did they do? They did not overthrow Rama.

If they expect us to do it on January 21, I don't agree. That platform for me is very good that it is done once a week. Let it be done twice a week. It can be done once every 15 days. Platforms and meetings will continue throughout the country. The Chairman of the Democratic Party will continue them. The analysis has already begun in all branches of the Democratic Party and will continue step by step", said Baçi. /CNA
