The Great Dictionary of the Albanian Language/Zhupa harsh criticism: The Academy

Democratic Party MP Ina Zhupa, at the meeting of the Committee on Culture, Tourism and Diaspora, reacted in harsh tones regarding the Great Dictionary of the Albanian Language.

Zhupa said that the Academy of Sciences has decided to make a fuss and take Albanians' money.

Further, Zhupa stated that the dictionary serves neither current nor future generations.

The MP said that the compilers of the dictionary do not account for the methodology used to compile the dictionary.

 

" The Academy has decided to take the Albanians' money and then do whatever the hell it wants."

"Unprecedented situation, it is about an essential element of national culture, we cannot leave it to a group of people who do not account for the methodology used to compile the dictionary. A dictionary that does not serve current and future generations ," said Zhupa.
