Security Forum, US Congress/Media: Kosovo should join NATO

The head of the PR, Fatmir Mediu, was part of the Security Forum in Washington. During his speech, Mediu said that he hopes that NATO countries will agree to start the Kosovo membership process.

According to him, this will bring more stability and more partnership in the region. Mediu emphasized that Kosovo is working hard to achieve every objective required to be part of the NATO alliance.

"We all hope that all NATO countries will agree to start the membership process for Kosovo. Within NATO, this will bring more stability and more partnership to our region, to the Balkans. And I think they are working hard to achieve every objective that is required to be part of the NATO alliance."
