"A government that steals from citizens has no legitimacy"/ Berisha:

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a meeting with the Democrats of branches 8 and 10 in Tirana, accused the government of using the state budget and the administration to steal the elections. According to him, this is the reason why this government has no legitimacy.

"There is no election if he uses all state resources, the entire administration and the budget. Because the other one who is in the field does not have the army of employees to serve the citizens who turn against the citizens in the elections. There is no election if traffickers with billions of euros rush towards the voters with money. The one who develops this phase in Albania, Venezuela, Belarus has no legitimacy. A government that does not come from free elections cannot govern a people. Even if the elections were normal, a government that is caught stealing and uses mandates and immunity as a shield, that government must be overthrown. A government makes the vote illegal, the electoral farce and the theft of citizens", said Berisha.

The Democratic Party leader added, among other things, that overthrowing this government is the most important mission the Democratic Party has had since its founding. Meanwhile, he called for participation in the February 10 protest, saying that it is the day of battle for the future of the country.

"In our mission, we will take these people to where they belong. I have told Edi Rama, I have declared and I declare, as much as they saved Enver Hoxha without being dragged from his pedestal, you will be saved. There is a people whose vote you are kicking and robbing. That is why today we are on the most important mission we have had from our founding until today. More difficult but sure towards victory. In the most critical moments when they thought they would archive us in history, we stood up. February 10 is the day of our peaceful uprising. I invite every citizen, every Albanian to join us. Because this is not a battle for the power of a man or party. It is a battle for resistance, dignity, the future of Albania and Albanians ," he said. /CNA
