MP and Chairman of the Laws Committee, Ulsi Manja, revealed today what really happened at the meeting held at the Prime Minister's Office, after the GJKKO decided to suspend Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku from office.
In a television studio, Manja said that unlike the large media coverage the issue received, that pre-arranged meeting was only a communication for work reasons, related to the activity of the majority in the Assembly and integration.
"As the chairman of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration, it was a moment, but nothing extraordinary, except for the conversations that take place on issues that concern the majority in parliament and on integration. The committee that I lead has the greatest weight. They are ordinary conversations. The moment when we met was like that. I assure you that I did not even know that there were cameras there. It was scheduled as a meeting the day before for work reasons. I became a media person for the moment, when it was a very normal meeting," said Manja./ CNA
