Draft Criminal Code/ From human trafficking to defamation, here are the 6

Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, at the consultative roundtable with media representatives on the Draft of the New Criminal Code stated that there are 6 directives in the Criminal Code that need to be fulfilled within the framework of Albania's negotiations for EU integration. Manja said that these must be fulfilled within the month of October.

 

"Regarding the completion of the interim milestones within the framework of the negotiations for the core group, Albania is required to reflect within October in the existing Criminal Code about 6 directives related to the criminal offenses of money laundering and terrorism, the review of the legal framework for terrorist offenses, the review of the framework for drug trafficking, for victims of human trafficking, child sexual abuse and child pornography, the review of the legal framework related to weapons, and defamation ," said the minister.
