High prices and low wages/ Berisha: Lice and scabies will break out in all four

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media from the blue headquarters, once again denounced the gap between the minimum and maximum wages in the country, as well as the high prices of food and hygiene products.

Berisha made a warning, joking that if detergents are bought for 35 euros when the salary is still 408 euros, citizens will be infected with scabies and parasites. The DP leader compared prices with countries in the region and the EU and accused Prime Minister Rama of increasing his wealth while the minimum wage remains unchanged according to EUROSTAT data.

" Albania is the country with the largest gap between maximum and minimum wages. According to Eurostat, the minimum wage has remained at 408 euros, while the maximum is 7,000 euros, i.e. 15 times higher than the minimum wage.

The minimum wage in 2024 has increased by only 108 euros, the maximum wage has quadrupled.

Edi Rama set a minimum pension for himself, 4,000 euros, 10 minimum salaries, imagine what amorality and heartlessness.

The prices are stratospheric, ask a housewife who goes and buys detergent for 35 euros when in Germany it costs 18 euros. I guarantee you that at these prices, a lice and scabies epidemic will break out in the four corners of the country.

What will people eat if you buy this way?

We will go back to 1992 when Albania experienced its worst scabies epidemic.

"Look, cheese is 2.5 euros more expensive than in Greece. The salary remains the same while prices rise above the European Union average ," said Berisha./ CNA
