Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted today regarding the clearing of sidewalks as part of the action for public spaces in the country.

Through a post on social media, Rama emphasized the concerns of businesses that want to place chairs outdoors.

Rama says that the conditions for businesses that have such a request will soon come, which will require them to contribute a tree to the Green Fund.

"To those who are worried about the chairs, I say be patient, your turn will come soon along with the new conditions for placing chairs outside, but first I can say that for every chair in the limited public space, a tree will have to be contributed to the Green Fund that the new government will create," Rama wrote. /CNA
