Kosovo Assembly session fails/Kurti: Opposition rebelled against the democratic process

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti reacted sharply this afternoon, following the failure to constitute the new legislature of the Kosovo Assembly. In a post on social media, Kurti accused the opposition of obstructing the completion of a formal and technical process, which calls into question the democratic order.

According to him, the deputies of PDK, LDK, AAK and the Serbian List voted against the report of the commission for the verification of mandates and rebelled against the oath of deputies and the constitution of the legislature.

Kurti said that this is an unprecedented situation in the state of Kosovo and much wider.

Kurti called them intra-institutional attacks against the Republic of Kosovo and democratic elections. /CNA
