The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Oerd Bylykbashi, spoke at a media conference about the approved draft for the Electoral Reform.
Bylykbashi said that the Electoral Reform failed because of the majority, after emphasizing that the SP rejected every request of the opposition.
"What I want to say from the beginning is that the parliament of Albania, the socialist majority, failed to carry out electoral reform. Edi Rama made it clear in December 2023 that he would go unilaterally, keeping the electoral law he had. Even during the 3-month period of the dialogue group, Rama rejected any request that would enable Electoral Reform", he declared./ CNA
