The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared today that the opposition protest on December 22 will be the start of a long period of protests, which will not stop until a technical government is reached.

In a virtual communication with citizens, Berisha said that the protests will unite Albanians of all persuasions, to express disagreement with the political situation in the country, for which he criticized Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"Yesterday at the meeting of the DP leadership, it was decided to address the citizens to start protests on December 22, where Albanians of all persuasions, but who dare to express their voice against the theft of money and assets of Albanian taxpayers and citizens, will unite.
In Bulgaria, they overthrew the government. It is not true that the prime minister sought to block the court's decision, but the prime minister, taking responsibility for the corrupt act of his minister, resigned and led the country to elections.
Meanwhile, Edi Rama, terrified because he is directly the man who shared the money with Lubi Balluku, dealt a fatal blow to the fight against corruption.
Citizens, it is up to us to raise our voices, it is up to us to never agree with this situation.
But I will repeat here, before you, and raise the issue again.
