The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is delivering his speech at the "Speech Platform", organized this time in Elbasan, where MPs and citizens are present. Berisha accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of attempting to interfere in the OSCE/ODIHR report on the May 11 elections.

On the other hand, the leading democrat added that despite the evidence in the OSCE report, the DP should also analyze the problems it had in these elections.

"Edi Rama used all his connections to change the OSCE report. The report was delayed like never before, a month and a half. Powerful interventions by Mogherini and others. But the report came out and said that the elections were an electoral farce. The report of the EC deputies recommends that in Albania the party should be separated from the state. In Albania, the elections were held just like in an authoritarian dictatorship. In the EP, one of the deputies of that parliament declared that in Albania organized crime does not allow the rotation of power. Now we are at one of the most critical moments in our history. Without a free vote, we have no future. We must pledge to do what the brave men of Elbasan did 35 years ago. They fought tooth and nail with the dictatorship. Two years ago they isolated us to the greatest depths. There are 7 world resolutions that sanction all that we say here. But do I need to say that we should not analyze ourselves. On the contrary, we should analyze the problems we had in these elections. Not that we would win them because in the conditions of a party-state, elections are not won. Our only effort should be to fight Edi Rama tooth for tooth”, said Berisha. /CNA
