They "boycotted" the Assembly for the anniversary of the founding of

The Head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, during his speech in the Assembly, congratulated the Democratic Party on its founding day.

Ironically, Balla said that he hopes that the 36th anniversary does not find the Democrats “so scattered.” He further added that if they had received an invitation, the Socialists would also have attended the ceremony marking the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Party.

"I would like to congratulate the colleagues of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party who have gone to their party's celebration. Enjoy the 35th anniversary of your party. I hope that the 36th anniversary does not find you as scattered as the 35th anniversary did. You have broken a tradition that has been around for years, that even opponents were invited. You could have invited us and we would have come with great pleasure," said Balla.

Currently, there are no Democratic Party deputies in the plenary session hall. /CNA
