Opposition leader: If you sign in the morning and withdraw at dinner, the state will fall into legal chaos

Debates were held in the Parliament today regarding the election of the People's Advocate, where the opposition declared that it has withdrawn its signatures for the candidates.

MP Ulsi Manja emphasized in his speech that the signatures were withdrawn after the deadline set by the commission. Consequently, if the opposition were to act as it does, submitting signatures in the morning and withdrawing them in the evening, the state would fall into legal chaos and stagnation.

"You have brought a request, we withdraw support for all candidates, you say. What did the commission say? Honorable opposition colleagues, you withdrew the signatures beyond the December 2 deadline set by the commission. This withdrawal has legal effects because it contradicts the article that sanctions the principle of legal certainty. Otherwise, if you sign in the morning and in the evening, the state goes into legal chaos, the state goes into stagnation," said Manja./ CNA
