US and EU presence in the election of SPAK/Berisha head: To neutralize Rama's black hand

Sali Berisha commented today on the significant presence of the diplomatic corps during the process of selecting the new head of SPAK.

In a statement to the media, Berisha said that their presence was intended to neutralize the black hand of Rama and the members of the KLP.

According to the opposition leader, they wanted to send the message that the government should not appoint the head of SPAK.

"The high concentration of the diplomatic corps in the election hall raises suspicions that it was done with the aim of neutralizing the black hand of Rama and the members of the KLP. They wanted to send a message that the government could not take Endrit Shabani and the candidate it had selected in this process. They base this on corrupt lobbying, we will stand as we have stood against those who cover up the deeds of Edi Rama. Edi Rama has replaced respecting the criteria with corrupt lobbying", declared Berisha./ CNA
