Hysen Kadiu, a democrat from Kavaja, who received the most votes in the Democratic Party primaries, reacted today after the party's Presidency meeting.

Through a post on social media, Kadiu emphasizes that the real battle of the Democrats is not with the DP, but with Prime Minister and Socialist leader Edi Rama.

According to Kadiu, today more than ever, democrats need unity and not division, organization and not "internal enemies."

"Today at the Presidency meeting, Chairman Sali Berisha, among other things, has leveled accusations against me, that during the May 11 election campaign I worked for Edi Rama and did not make any contribution to the DP.
I tell Dr. Berisha and all those who are close to him and have misinformed him, that my activity during the campaign is public on my Facebook. As well, better than that, this is proven by the citizens of Kavaja and the surrounding areas, who, both during the campaign, before and after it, we have been in constant contact and meetings.
Our battle is not with the DP and the Democrats, but with Edi Rama. Anyone who tries to cast aspersions on my personal contribution and all those who want the best for the DP, are only interested in their own chair.
Today, more than ever, the Democrats need unity and not division, organization and not "internal enemies". Nothing bad comes to the DP from criticism and reorganization.
