The candidate of the PD of Alibeaj for the Municipality of Tirana, Roland Bejko, held a meeting with business representatives, to whom he presented his program, from where he promised more support for this sector if they vote for him on May 14.
Bejko said that they will remove the educational and sports infrastructure tax, as well as halve the cleaning tax for businesses. Also, Bejko has promised to halve all local taxes.
The candidate for Tirana also stopped at the government of Erion Veliaj, for whom he said that they have suffocated businesses with fines and said that his program foresees a better relationship between these two parties.
"What does the economy need? Fewer fines, less pressure from municipal employees and more communication to create a kind of relaxation, to understand that the municipality and business are not enemies, they are not cat and mouse, but they are partners. The municipality that we will lead, if the citizens give us their trust, will be available to train for free the employees who deal with local tax payments of any business in such a way that fines are not the norm for businesses, but exceptional cases . The goal is not to pursue the business and fine it, but to help it not to make mistakes. If we manage to create this type of communication, the business will feel more relaxed, will have more confidence and will seek to cooperate with the municipality.
Our policies are known, they are not secret, we are for such development policies with less taxes. We have thought to remove the education and sports infrastructure tax, the halving of the cleaning tax for businesses, the municipality will create fiscal relief and financially prove all the measures that will be taken by businesses that aim to produce and save energy using solar panels, quality installations in buildings, the use of hybrid and electronic tools and all forms of 'smart working'.
Bejko promises more support for local farmers and for this, 5 multifunctional centers will be built at the entrance and exit of Tirana, in which priority will be given to local products. These centers will be located in Kamzë, Kashar, Vaqarr, Lundër and Tufina area. In these centers there will be parking above and underground.
We will be of the principle that local products, especially those coming from the Municipality of Tirana, are products that dominate the market and for this we will apply the policies of the concept of consumption with zero kilometers.
The local products of the farmers of the Municipality of Tirana and the residents of the villages will be the ones that will receive priority by creating facilities in the market. 5 public markets will be built in five multifunctional poles. We will build 250 km of rural roads that are missing from the crown of Tirana, in order for the family farm products to go easily to Tirana and to access these markets that we have thought of at these five entrances to the city.
The municipality will offer financial grants to support small and medium business activities, operating in classic and innovative fields as defined in the legislation in force, guaranteeing balanced gender access," said Bejko .
Bejko said that three free economic zones will be created in the area of ??Krraba, Arbana and Ndroqi.

2- The municipality will be available to train for free the employees who deal with local tax payments of any business in such a way that a friendly and honest partnership is created between the business and the local administration in such a way that the fines are not be normal for businesses, but exceptional cases.
3- In Tirana, at least 4 new public markets will be established and operated in which typical healthy and safe local products will be promoted. Small business, through promotional activities, such as fairs and advertising in public places.
