Prime Minister Edi Rama, in his speech at the EU-Western Balkans summit taking place in Kotor, Montenegro, said that we are ready to become part of the European market.
He requested that the EU guarantee loans as aid to the countries of the Western Balkans. According to Rama, the Balkans should not block itself.
"We pretend to be European countries and block ourselves. We must leave bilateral issues outside the EU space. We are ready to become part of the European market. Guarantee us loans and you will have us forever. We will remain loyal We must convince the EU for loans. We must make our participation in the security policy more significant. We will continue the regional cooperation for Albania , it is not the past that should control the future, but the future should control the past", said Rama.
The head of the Albanian government further added that we want to be seen as member states.
"We have to leave politics and bilateral issues out of this situation. If we do everything in a European way it will lighten the atmosphere so that everyone can deal with bilateral issues," he said./CNA
