The vice-president of the DP, Oerd Bylykbashi, has stated that the main objective of the opposition is the return of the agreement of June 5, 2020.

Bylykbashi told the media that it has worked for 20 years in a very good way and there is no reason not to return, calling it an essential issue to guarantee the honesty of the result.

He stated that the majority is opposed to this, adding that Rama does not give up any kind of instrument to maintain power.

"Today's meeting at the request of the opposition was aimed at reactivating the dialogue group. Clearly, until today, there has been no will from the majority to consider the demands of the opposition.

We have said from the beginning that our main objective is to return to the June 5 agreement. It has worked for 20 years very well and there is no reason why it should not be restored and it is essential to guarantee the fairness of the result. The majority is opposed and without any motive, Rama does not give up an instrument that can take power unfairly.

There are parties that have received 108 thousand votes and have 4 mandates, there are parties that have received 30 thousand votes and have 3 mandates. This is an unconstitutional injustice and inequality. Of course, there are other issues, among which are the recommendations of the OSCE-ODIHR, where we should remove their hands in the election process.

The Democratic Party has had issues with the vote of the Diaspora, the Electoral Code allows the voting of the Diaspora and it is the SP that has blocked the registration of voters through the Ministry of the Interior. In 4 years, they haven't found the time and opportunity to adopt rules and register voters," said Bylykbashi./ CNA
