The next victim was recorded, unfortunately it is a child only 7 years old. It happened on the Elbasan-Librazhd road, Mengël village. Just leaving the city of Elbasan. It is a very dangerous area. The road passes through the village. Traffic is heavy. On both sides of it there are houses, shops, tents selling fruits and vegetables, baskets and jars.. there are cafes, restaurants...

After the accident, the media interviews witnesses: The driver was fast, yes, fast... someone saw him, who said he was at maximum speed?

What is the maximum speed?

Who measured it?

The driver had said: I'm on the national road, I'm on my way. But I wasn't going fast...

Are only vehicle drivers to blame in accidents?

Even more so when the victim is a child!

They undoubtedly have the main responsibility, but in this area, the biggest fault is the government. The situation is not solved just by reducing the speed limit on the road. Even at 20 km/h, if someone comes out in front of you, it kills you.

Pedestrians should not have to cross over cars to get to the other side of the road. At least two overpasses should have been built there.

Many accidents have happened there, but after each victim we have been content with just saying: Trash, scoundrels, criminals, this is what happens when there is no state, etc. etc.

New roads cut villages in half, forcing residents to risk their lives to get to the other side.
