The most dangerous slavery is not the one with chains that the Roman Empire had.
It is today's modern slavery. Slavery with payroll. With credit. With supermarkets with offers. With a salary that is enough to keep you from dying today and that is so low that it forces you to get up and go to work tomorrow. It is the modern slaves who walk "happy" towards the chains themselves.

Happy slaves are not held with a whip.
They are held with fear and propaganda.
With a bone thrown to them at the end of the month and the illusion that “It gets worse” or “Thank goodness we have work.”
The system doesn't want happy people, but tired people.
Tired enough to not think.
Exhausted enough to not rebel.
Poor enough to be afraid of losing even that stinking bone they are thrown at the end of the month.

"Happy slaves" dream their whole lives about a house; they work their whole lives to pay for it, but they may never be able to buy it.

They wake up at night, return from work at night, and call the fact that they have survived another day "life."
And in the midst of all this misery, they have also lost their dignity; their pride; their character...
Even their instinct to feel insulted.

They no longer react to anything.
Not to theft.
Not to fraud.
Not to public humiliation.
Not to the fact that those who elected them with the world insult their intelligence every day on the screens that they themselves pay for with their taxes.
You see them cheering those who desecrate them.
They applaud those who steal from them.
They protect those who trample on them.
And not only that: they are honored to be humiliated by their master.
You can spit in their mouths, they will say it's rain.
You can slap them in the face and they will say: "At least it smells like development."
You can shit on their heads and they will boast that the excrement came from the hand of the "leader".
The modern slave no longer seeks freedom, no longer hates the slave owner. He worships him.
He only seeks a kinder slave owner.
He defends him on Facebook; he justifies him in coffee, he votes for him on election day; carries it on his back and then complains about life with the same mouth that licks his boots.
This is the most disgusting form of slavery: when a person no longer understands that he is a slave.
When he calls fear "stability"; exploitation "sacrifice" and humiliation "normality."

And modern slave owners know this.
That's why they sneer.
Every time the people bow their heads, they raise their boots.
Every time the people are silent, they rob more.
Every time the crowd cheers, they realize that they are not facing citizens, but obedient consumers.
Because the perfect slave is the one who controls himself and censors himself.
The one who thanks the whip and kisses the hand that strikes him.

You know? The system today no longer needs large prisons.
All it needs is a screen, a few VIP models to distract you, a few trashy shows, a ridiculous salary, and a bunch of tired people who no longer have the energy to even revolt.

This is the greatest victory of any rotten power.
Not when it impoverishes you, but when it convinces you that poverty is normal.
Not when it humiliates you, but when it convinces you to smile during humiliation.
And so, every morning, millions of “happy slaves” sacrifice family, health, and life for a miserable salary; they get up without the need for a bell or alarm.
They go to work. They return exhausted. They curse life in silence.
And the next day they line up again, like disciplined cattle, to be milked once more.

While above them, the "modern slave owners" watch and continue to get rich, eat, drink, mock... and shit on their heads with the calm of one who knows that no one will rise up.
