Leka Bungo doesn't have the morals of a man who can go and resign because he's caught in a rut and has little skin left in his old age because he doesn't have it and there's nowhere to find it.

However, responsible institutions that must verify the case are the ones that must provide answers, not only for a Leka who receives lek at RTSH, but for anyone who will go to the RTSH Steering Council, not to manage the institution and give it a different performance, but to receive lek like Leka receives.

The Chairman of the RTSH Steering Council, Leka Bungo, has been caught in flagrant violation.

CNA has revealed documents and a contract that show how Leka Bungo and Alfred Peza violated the law by benefiting from RTSH funds.

The violation and abuse committed by the chairman of the RTSH Steering Council was also acknowledged by the general director of this television station, Aurora Polo, who, in response to CNA's request, emphasized that members of the Council or the chairman himself are prohibited from receiving funds. "Referring to decision no. 3 dated 9.1.2024 of the Steering Council, only the directors of the RTSH who are elected by the Steering Council are exempt from paying royalties for engagements in film and artistic projects of the RTSH," emphasizes director Aurora Polo for CNA.

CNA indicated that the RTSH Statute prohibits members of the Board of Directors from receiving funds.

So, no line of the statute states that the chairman of the Board of Directors can receive money for his role as a screenwriter in television programs.

WHY SHOULD LEKA BUNGO BE RELEASED FROM DUTY?

Regarding this violation of the law and abuse of funds, Article 97 of the media law states that "in case of violation thereof, any member of the Council must be relieved of duty."

Point "b" of Article 97:

Incompatibilities and conflict of interest of members of the KDRTSH

Members of the KDRTSH cannot be individuals who:

-are related persons, according to the definitions of Law No. 9367, dated 7.4.2005 "On the prevention of conflict of interest in the exercise of public functions" or who own capital shares or shares of commercial companies, as well as other rights in the field of audiovisual broadcasting, advertising, audiovisual broadcasting content production, electronic communication networks or persons employed during the last year, members of the management or advisory bodies of these entities or related to any license with these entities.

As a result, point "ç" of article 100 determines that the dismissal from office occurs if it is proven that the chairman of the RTSH Steering Council has violated the obligations of article 97 of this law.

CNA has denounced the scandals in which the Albanian Public Radio Television has been continuously involved.

A few days ago, CNA published for the first time a contract between the director of RTSH, Alfred Peza, and Leka Bungo, who has returned to the role of screenwriter of the show "Gezura", a television program on the Albanian Public Radio and Television.

The document clearly shows that there are millions of lek and a clear conflict of interest in money provided from Albanian taxpayer funds and the RTSH budget for the program.

The director has affirmed what is actually stated in the RTSH statute, that members of the RTSH Steering Council or the Council's chairman, Leka Bungo, cannot receive funds.

Albanian Public Radio and Television has turned into a barn of scandals, affairs, corruption and conflict of interest.

The escape of the director of this institution, Alfred Peza, revealed many facts and details about the accusations made by the media one after the other. They were often called political attacks, but in fact they were not.

There has been a conflict in RTSH for years, a conflict that is instigated by the head of the Governing Council, Leka Bungo.

The scandals, exploits and tragedies of RTSH have also been found by KLSH in whose reports it is said that there were abusive actions or pure conflicts of interest.

For those who do not know, Leka Bungo has often instigated conflicts with all the leaders since he came to this institution.

The first was Thoma Gëllçi, then Martin Leka, then Enkelejd Joti and the last Alfred Peza, who was forced to resign.

With all the directors there was a problem supposedly in the name of the fight against corruption, Leka Bungo had his bargain, his bargain, as is the case with this document signed by Alfred Peza and Leka Bungo.
