The operator of Albanian films and documentaries, Pëllumb Kallfa, passed away today at the age of 77.

The sad news was announced by the Central State Film Archive. Pëllumb Kallfa holds the honorary title "Deserved Artist".

He was born in Tirana on August 28, 1945. Kallfa finished his studies at the University of Tirana and started working as an operator in 1971.

He is one of the best camera professionals, who worked at the "New Albania" Kinostudio shooting feature films, documentaries and chronicles.

Kallfa worked alongside the best Albanian directors such as Dhimitër Anagnosti, Viktor Gjika, Piro Milkani, etc.

Some of the feature films that passed through the eye of Pëllumb Kallfa's camera are: "Poppies on the Wall" (Dh. Anagnosti, 1976), "General Gramaphone" - honored with the award (V.
