With over 8 million word forms/ The large digital dictionary of the Albanian

The first public presentation of the large spelling dictionary of the Albanian language in digital form was held today at the "Ukshin Hoti" University, in the amphitheater of the Faculty of Economics, in Prizren.

Present at this public presentation were the members of the National Scientific Council for the Albanian language:

Albania: Prof. dr. Emil Lafe, Prof. dr. Enver Hysa, Prof. assoc. Adelina Cerpja, Prof. assoc. Anila Çepani.

North Macedonia: Prof. dr. Mustafa Ibrahimi, Prof. dr. Asllan Hamiti, Prof. dr. Ismet Osmani.

Kosovo: Prof. dr. Hysen Matoshi, Prof. dr. Bahri Koskoviku.

Nikoqir, University of Prizren: Rector Mr. Mentor Alishani, dean of the Faculty of Philology, Mr. Xhafer Beqiraj, professor Mr. Brilliant Millak.

With over 8 million word forms/ The large digital dictionary of the Albanian

The Center for Education and Progress, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo, has compiled the large dictionary of the Albanian language with 300,000 A4 pages.

For the first time throughout history, the largest amount of words in the Albanian language, over 100,000, has been reflected, with all their grammatical forms, as well as other information for each word. With a carefully selected vocabulary, with over 8,000,000 forms of words, now perfectly digitized and easily accessible to every Albanian through the Internet.

Today begins the celebration of the great Dictionary of the Albanian language in digital format, and the joy surrounding this scientific effort is destined to last forever, leaving an indelible legacy for generations to come.
